General informations  

     Published reports of studies carried out at Polish Mother`s Memorial Hospital- Research Institute over the period between 1997-2004 include over 327 original papers and abstracts in international medical journals distinguished on the Philadelphia List, 1450 publications in other review magazines, numerous monographs as well as presentations at international conferences. 124 doctoral theses were performed over that period of time. 12 researchers were conferred the title of Associate Professor. The title of Professor was conferred to 17 persons.
     A variety of new medical procedures are elaborated and put into practice: the model of comprehensive management of pregnancy complicated by diabetes or epilepsy; methods of managing recurrent abortions using immunotherapy; applying morphometric screen for diagnosing the afterbirth; applying laparoscopy in gynaecological operative procedures; the new model of comprehensive algorithmic diagnosis of menopausal disorders in women; intrauterine diagnosing and treatment of fetal patients with congenital anomalies, tachycardia or circulatory insufficiency.
     At present, the Institute participates in 21 research projects supported by the State Committee for Scientific Research.
