A few hundred runners from all over Poland will take part in the III PMMH-RI Charity Run. The event will take place on Saturday 30 March.

The race is organized by the Foundation for the Development of the Polish Mother’s Memorial Hospital – Research Institute. Apart from promoting a healthy lifestyle, the event is to help Polish Mother’s and its patients. The total income will be allocated to support the Institute’s patients – the most seriously ill children from all over Poland, and to purchase equipment that saves their health and lives.

The route is 5 kilometers long and leads through the hospital grounds and around the streets. The start will be on al. Matek Polskich, later competitors will run through PMMH’s internal areas, then Paradna St. and again al. Matek Polskich. This route will have to be run twice.

The main race will be accompanied by competitions for children. Children aged 3-15 can take part In the PMMH Mini Run, (depending on the age group, distances: 300, 500 and 800 meters will be covered).

The previous editions of the Run were very popular. 500 players participated. Real stars among them. Wanda Panfil, world champion in the 1991 marathon from Tokyo among them.
