The Polish Mothers received another shot of equipment from the Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy. This time, the Department of Surgery, Pediatric Urology and Transplantology was donated. It received two cardiomonitors, three pulse oximeters and 14 state-of-the-art infusion pumps.
A few weeks ago, similar pumps were sent to the Department of Obstetrics, Perinatology and Gynecology. They are equipped with a system preventing medical errors, prevent overdosing, too fast or too slow administration of the drug.
Monitors and pulse oximeters will be used to monitor vital signs in patients coming to the Department of Surgery after accidents and burns.
