Professor Tomasz Moszura, the head of the Department of Cardiology of the Polish Mother’s Memorial Hospital – Research Institute was a guest in “Dzień Dobry TVN” program. on Saturday, February, 15 the hosts – Dorota Welman and Marcin Prokop talked to him about the innovative procedure performed in an 8-year-old Alan from Lodz.
The patient was born with a severe heart defect (HLHS – no left ventricle). He was admitted to PMMH with generalized venous thrombosis. Professor Moszura performed his last resort surgery – heart catheterization with brachiocephalic vein patency restoration.
